SELF: The Final Frontier
Since 2008, I’ve lived quietly in a small cottage — peaceful yet often heavy with silence. That solitude has been both my comfort and my teacher. I’ve realised that what I’m truly longing for isn’t just connection with others, but a living communion with God — something felt, not imagined.
“We are not human beings having a spiritual experience; we are spiritual beings having a human experience.”
— Eric Butterworth, 1968; Emilie Cady, 1896
The Mirror Within
Lately, I’ve noticed how my outer world mirrors my inner state. My work, relationships, and flow of abundance all seem to reflect my thoughts and beliefs.
“Thoughts held in mind produce after their kind.”
— Charles Fillmore, 1930
If I hold fear or scarcity, life reflects limitation. But when I align with love, gratitude, and purpose, life seems to open in response.
Danielle LaPorte reminds us that our truest goals aren’t about things, but about how we want to feel:
“You’re not chasing the goal itself — you’re chasing the feeling that you hope the goal will give you.”
— Danielle LaPorte, 2012
This perspective has shifted everything for me. When I focus on feeling love, purpose, and freedom, the details of life naturally begin to align.
God as the Infinite Field
I no longer see God as a distant being watching over me, but as an infinite, responsive field — a God Cloud of pure potential.
Quantum thinkers like Dr. Joe Dispenza describe this field as energy that responds to our focus and feeling:
“The quantum field responds not to what we want; it responds to who we are being.”
— Joe Dispenza, 2014
In this view, God is not a judge but a creative field that reacts to the consciousness we bring. When I centre in love and gratitude, the “field” reflects that frequency back as form.
“Life is lived from within out. What you radiate, you attract.”
— Eric Butterworth, 1968
Cher and Bil Holton offer another valuable reminder:
“Question unquestioned answers.”
— Cher & Bil Holton, 2020
By questioning my inherited beliefs, I can become conscious of the mental patterns that shape my experience — and choose new ones that serve love, joy, and growth.
Turning Solitude into Presence
My solitude, once a source of loneliness, is becoming sacred. In silence, I’m learning to meet God within my own heart.
“When you stay connected to the Source, everything that makes you feel separate dissolves.”
— Wayne Dyer, 2004
Louise Hay taught that self-love is the foundation of transformation. Her practice of mirror work continues to guide me:
“The most powerful affirmations are those you say while looking into your own eyes.”
— Louise Hay, 1984
My Daily Compass
These small practices help me return to Presence:
🌿 Morning Affirmation:
“The Presence of God within me is my source of love, wisdom, and joy.”
— Butterworth, 1968
🕊️ Meditation:
Quiet time morning and evening to feel the field of grace.
💗 Mirror Work:
“I love you. You are learning to love life again.”
— Hay, 1984
🔥 Desire Mapping:
“How do I want to feel today?”
— LaPorte, 2012
🌀 Questioning Beliefs:
“Does this thought serve love and joy, or limit me?”
— Cher & Holton, 2020
🌸 Loving Service:
“Prosperity is not what we have, but what we give forth.”
— Butterworth, 1974
Coming Home
I’m learning that purpose is not a job — it’s love in motion.
“Love is not something you do, it’s what you are.”
— Danielle LaPorte, 2012
When I align my thoughts and feelings with divine love, I co-create with the infinite field of potential. Even my quiet cottage becomes a temple of creation and grace.
Isolation, scarcity, and challenge aren’t failures — they are invitations to return to Presence. To radiate love. To remember that the Source is not “out there,” but alive and responsive within me.
Every day, in small ways, I feel it: the quiet stirring of purpose, the gentle return of joy, and the radiant unfolding of life itself.
